Actually, there are several ways you can learn EFT ...

First Way.   You can learn it one-on-one from an experienced practitioner.

FACTS:

l         This is a good way if the practitioner is sufficiently skilled in EFT
(I have taught many of my patients EFT with excellent results and
so have a number of other therapists).  However, you MUST first
find out what the practitioner's training in EFT is, how many people
they have successfully applied it to, and what conditions they have
treated with it — practitioner skills vary widely.

l        Fees for an individual training session with an EFT practitioner
usually run from $80 to $175 U.S. dollars, depending on the training
        and experience of the practitioner.

l        You are very likely to need more than one session when learning EFT
        one-on-one.

Second Way. You can attend a workshop teaching EFT.

FACTS:

l      EFT workshops are often a fine way to learn but they are few and far between and are held only in certain locations, so that travel is usually an important factor in attending them.

l      Since there are no formal requirements for someone to give a workshop teaching EFT, you should carefully investigate the background of your workshop leader and find out just what you are going to be taught before investing your time and money.

l      EFT workshops typically last one or two days with fees running from $200 to $500 depending on the length of the workshop and the prominence of the trainer. If you include travel expenses and accommodations in your budget (most often necessary) it usually costs about $1,000 for one person to attend an EFT workshop.

Third Way.  You can read a written description giving the basic steps of EFT

FACTS:

l
If you are good at learning self-help techniques from the printed
word, you may be able to learn the bare-bones of EFT this way.

l

Even the best books or manuals on EFT fall far short of complete
instruction. They impart about 15% of the skills necessary to master
the technique. For example —  how well can you learn to swim by
     just reading about it?

l      For most people, reading about it is the least effective way to learn EFT.

Fourth Way.  You can learn EFT by videotaped instruction.

FACTS:

If you have reliable and authoritative videos taught by an
    experienced teacher you can…

l  Learn EFT in your own home
l  Master the basics of it immediately
l   Apply it to an issue of your own while you learn
l
Absorb the details at your own pace
l  Review the training steps whenever you wish
l Share the benefits of EFT with family members and friends

We recommend videotaped training for most purposes.
